Oswego NY- The SUNY Brockport women's soccer team traveled to SUNY Oswego this past Wednesday afternoon. The match resulted in the Lakers winning, 1-0. Brockport moves to 1-4-2 and 0-1-0 in the SUNYAC, while Oswego now stands at 5-2-1 overall and 1-0 in the conference.

After the first 45 minutes the game was scoreless going into halftime tied at 0-0. It all changed after the break as the Lakers scored a goal in the second half to go up 1-0.

Brockport had a total of 12 shots to Oswego's 10, and both teams were awarded six corner kicks.

Leading the team in shots today was
Kiley Longin with four.
Karlie Mann,
Franchesca Polcaro and
Lara Kanbur all put up two shots for the Green and Gold.
Julia Mascaro and
Sydnee Smith recorded shots for the Golden Eagles as well.

Kayla Usborne spent 90 minutes in net for the Green and Gold. Usborne recorded three saves and allowed one goal in the contest.

The Golden Eagles will be on the road again Saturday when they travel to play the Bears of SUNY Potsdam at 1pm.
