Potsdam, NY- The SUNY Brockport women's soccer team defeated the Potsdam Bears on Saturday in a tough match, 1-0. Brockport moves to a 2-4-2 overall season record and a 1-1 mark in the SUNYAC.
Lucy Crounse scored what would be the game-winner for Brockport, notching the first goal of her colleigate career. Crounse found the back of the net after receiving the pass from
Julia Mascaro at 37:14 in the first half.

Camryn Pettit and
Emily Maczka all recorded shots for the Green and Gold.
Kayla Usborne spent another 90:00 minutes in goal with a total of four saves.
Brockport came out firing in the first half, outshooting the Bears 9-4 in the first 45 minutes. As the aggressors the Golden Eagles also earned six more corner kick opportunities than Potsdam in the contest.
