Brockport, NY – The SUNY Brockport wrestling program will be competing at the New York State Intercollegiate Open this Saturday, January 21^st at 9am in Rochester, New York, hosted by RIT.

Last Match Recap:  The SUNY Brockport wrestling team went 1-2 at the Mule Duals, hosted by Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania on Saturday January 14^th.
 
First Match, Delaware Valley – The Golden Eagles fell, 24-10, against Delaware Valley in the opening match.

Isaiah Jackson fell, 12-7, to Jacob Blair in the 125-pound weight class. Matt Caccamise fell to Ryan Kelly,11-4, in the 133-pound weight class.
 
Malachi Harvey of Delaware Valley, won by a medical forfeit over Marquis Larmond at 6:15, in the 145-pound weight class. 
 
Elijah Sims recorded a win over Bryce Vollman by a, 14-2, major decision in the 149-division. Francis Whitehouse fell, 5-1, at 157.

Matthew Kline won his match in the 165-pound weight class by a, 6-4, decision.
 
Jared Zenie fell, 5-2, in the 174-pound weight class. Karam Ali fell, 8-2, at 184 to Cooper Kidd.
 
Michael Sullivan won his match in the 197-pound weight class by a, 10-8, decsion.
 
Nick Franco fell, 6-3, to Delaware's Logan Flynn in the heavy weight divison.
 
Second Match, Muhlenberg – Brockport lost to the host team from Muhlenberg, 22-16, in the second bout on Saturday.

Isaiah Jackson fell by pin at 5:52 in the 125-pound weight class. Matt Caccamise fell, 4-3, to Frank DiEsso in the 133,-pound weight class.
 
Marquis Larmond lost, 5-2, in the 141-pound weight class.
 
Elijah Sims won by a technical fall over Chris Sockler at 5:17.
 
In the 157-division, Francis Whitehouse was defeated, 10-1. Matthew Kline won his matchup by a, 6-1, decision.
 
Jared Zenie fell, 5-0, in his second match of the day in the 174-pound weight class. Gavin McLaughlin also lost, 8-0, in the 184-pound weight class.
 
Michael Sullivan won his second match of the day by technical fall at 4:14, in the 197-pound weight class. Nick Franco won his match in the heavy weight category by a, 5-3, decision.
 
Third Match, Alfred State – Brockport won their final dual of the day against Alfred State, 24-12, getting back in the win column. 
 
Isaiah Jackson fell 6-2 by a decision in the 125-pound weight class. Matt Caccamise won his third match of the day by a 3-2 decision over Brendon Tanner.
 
Marquis Larmond fell 6-5 in his final match of the day. Elijah Sims goes undefeated in Pennsylvania this weekend winning his third match in the 149-pound weight class by a pin at 1:41.
 
Francis Whitehouse fell 6-4 in his match against Alfred State's Justin Smith. Matthew Kline is also undefeated in the Mule Duals this weekend, winning his third match of the day 6-2. 
 
Jared Zenie won his match in the 174-pound weight class by a 4-0 decision. Gavin McLaughlin fell in his weight class by a 5-0 decision.
 
Michael Sullivan goes 3 for 3 today, making him undefeated in the Mule Duals as well. He won his final match by a 5-3 decision.
 
Nick Franco won his last match of the day by pin at 2:00.
 
Up Next: Following the New York State Intercollegiate Open, the Men will travel to Worcester, Massachusetts on Saturday, January 28^th, to compete in the WPI Tri-Match against Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Johnson and Wales university.
