Brockport, NY – The Golden Eagles bounced back at home on Saturday with a win over Fredonia, 64-49. They are now 4-2 in SUNYAC play and own a 7-6 record overall.
Juan Brown did it all for Brockport, registering her first career double-double to lead the way. She posted career-highs across the board with 19 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and three blocks.

Stephanie Jean-Baptiste also had a nice day at the office. She finished with 12 points and had career-highs of seven rebounds and three assists.
Zairea Hannah notched her fourth double-double of the season with 11 points and 15 boards.
Anna Felice marked the fourth double-digit scorer for the Green and Gold, scoring 11 points.
Jean-Baptiste began the her first career start by nailing a 3-pointer on Brockport's first possession of the game. After going up 5-0 early, Fredonia got going to tie the score up at 7-7 midway through the first. Brockport trailed the conference opponent, 15-14, after one.
The Golden Eagles dominated the second quarter, outscoring Fredonia by 17 points in the period. They went 4-for-7 from long range on the way to a 23-point quarter. On the defensive side of the ball, the team held Fredonia to just 1-for-11 from the field.
Brockport entered halftime with a 16-point lead over the visiting Blue Devils, 37-21. Fredonia attempted to close the gap early in the third, but Brockport would end up with a 17-point lead with 2:55 left in the quarter. The score would read 50-36 heading into the fourth.
In the final period, Fredonia made a run to cut the Green and Gold lead to single digits at 52-45.
Anna Felice knocked down five free throws down the stretch to recreate the double-digit lead in the final minute. Brockport closed out the game on its home floor for the 15-point victory.
The Golden Eagles are on the road on Tuesday, January 10
th for a rematch with the Cortland Red Dragons. Tip-off is scheduled for 2pm down in Cortland, NY for this conference clash.
