Brockport, NY – The SUNY Brockport Women's soccer team tied Cortland, 0-0, on Saturday afternoon to score one point in the SUNYAC Standings. The team moves to an overall record of 11-2-3 and 3-1-3 in the conference and earn its 12
thshutout of the season.
The visiting Red Dragons were in control for most of the game, outshooting the Green and Gold, 14-5. This included six shots on goal for Cortland compared to just two from Brockport. The Golden Eagles were only awarded one corner kick, while the opponent had seven in the match.
Despite all of the advantages on the stat sheet, Brockport was able to keep its conference foe without a score. In goal for the Green and Gold was
Madeline McCrosson. McÇrosson spent 90 minutes on the field this afternoon making six saves on the way to her eighth clean sheet.
Brockport will head on the road this Wednesday, October 18
th to face Geneseo at 3pm before returning home to host Potsdam on Saturday October 21
st for Senior Day!.
