The Golden Eagles got right to work in this one, going up 13-2 early in the first half.
Zachary Rice started the game hot with three makes from beyond the arc in the opening five minutes. He finished with a career-high 12 points and three steals, shooting 4-for-6 from deep.
Brockport would end up extending the lead to 20 points before halftime. With 2:22 left to play in the first half,
Jacob Oka tipped in a missed shot to create a 42-21 advantage. Oka set career-highs of 18 points and 12 boards, posting his first career double-double. The sophomore was perfect from the floor, shooting 7-for-7 on the night.
Heading into the locker room with a 21-point lead over the Giants, the Green and Gold scored 48 points in the first 20 minutes. The team shot 54.5% from the field and 50% from downtown to start the night. A strong defensive effort held Keystone to just 26.1% shooting in the opening half of play.
The second half saw Brockport add to its lead, as the team had five double-digit scorers by the end of the game. With tallies of 46 points in the paint, 30 points off turnovers, and 33 bench points the Golden Eagles largest lead of the night was 43 late in the second half. They would never let Keystone get back into it, closing out the contest with a 41-point victory.
Tony Arnold finished with 15 points, two steals, four assists, and five boards.
Tyler Cowie went 50% from the floor on his way to 11 points and five boards.
Danny Ashley went a perfect 5-for-5 in the game on his way to a 10 point outing off the bench.
The Golden Eagles look to add another tally in the win column on Saturday, as they play Salisbury University at 1pm.
