Tony Arnold and
Zachary Rice both hit a pair of 3-point shots during the run to help spark the offense.

Although Oneonta fought to stay within striking distance, Brockport went into halftime with a 39-26 lead on the scoreboard. The defensive effort was key for the Green and Gold in the first half, as the Red Dragons were held to just 24.14% shooting from the field in the first 20 minutes of action.

Early on in the second, Oneonta was able to cut the deficit to just five points. The Golden Eagles regrouped and went on to stretch the lead back to double-digits at 56-42 with 12 minutes on the clock. Free throws were key for Oneonta in bringing the game back to single digits, as the away team went 17-for-19 at the line in the second half.

Brockport responded by turning defense into offense with three straight fastbreak layups to make it a 12-point game with less than seven to play. The Green and Gold got hot from beyond the arc again, making seven 3-pointers in the second half. With around three minutes left in regulation, the team earned its largest lead of the game at 84-64.

The Golden Eagles would end up finishing the game with an 11-point gap between them and the Red Dragons. They keep the winning streak alive at five and get conference play started with the win at home.
