Clinton, NY - The Brockport women's basketball team was defeated by Hamilton College on the road, 69-54, on Wednesday, December 6
th. Brockport is now 5-3 overall ahead of another non-conference game this weekend.

The Continentals controlled the pace in the first quarter, making six more field goals than the Golden Eagles on the same number of attempts. Hamilton held a 25-13 lead going into the second quarter.

Taking a 12-point lead into in second, Hamilton would extend the lead to 19 points at the break. Maria Mercado scored 6 points in the second to help create a convincing gap on the scoreboard.

The Golden Eagles would outscore the Continentals by four in the second half, but the rally would come up short. Hamilton held on for the win at home, remaining undefeated (9-0) so far this season.

Brockport put together an adequate performance from three, outshooting Hamilton 33.3% to 25.9% from beyond the arc.

Kendall Harris dominated the paint, leading the game with 17 points and 14 rebounds to go along with three steals.

Anna Lee would lead the Green and Gold in scoring, dropping 15 points with three makes from 3-point territory.
Zairea Hannah narrowly missed recording a double-double, scoring 12 points and snatching nine rebounds.

Zoe Zutes put together a solid effort, filling up the stat sheet with 11 points, six rebounds, two steals, and two rejections.

Mandy Brink (10 pts) rounded out the double-digit scorers for Brockport, while also chipping in three rebounds.
