Brockport, NY – Tuesday night the No. 5 seeded Brockport Golden Eagles head to No. 4 seeded Geneseo for the start of the SUNYAC Tournament. The postseason tips-off at 7pm in Geneseo, NY.
Locking Up the 5th Seed: Brockport closed the regular season at home this past weekend with wins over Buffalo State and Oswego. The pair of victories pushed the team to 12-13 overall and 9-9 in the conference. This clinched the fifth seed for the squad heading into the conference tournament.
Building the B: After missing the postseason last year, Head Coach
Corinne Jones gets the program back to SUNYAC Tournament for the sixth time since taking over in 2015-16. Coach Jones and first-year Assistant Coach
Scott Foster have Brockport in the conference tournament for the first time since the 2019-20 season. In the postseason, Jones has made trips to the SUNYAC Semifinals twice (2016-17 & 2018-19).
Spectator Information: For those attending Tuesday night's game; Adults are $5, Children (Ages 5-12) are $3, and SUNYAC Students (With Student ID) are free. Tickets go on sale beginning at 6pm.

Statistical Leaders: Heading into the postseason, freshman
Stephanie Jean-Baptiste is the leading scorer for the Green and Gold. Averaging 10.4 points per game, she has made 44 3-point shots this season which is third most in the conference.
Zairea Hannah is nearly posting double-double averages of 10.3 points and 9.7 rebounds. At 83-for-101 from the foul line,
Anna Felice leads the SUNYAC at 82.2% from the line and in total free throws made. With 42 blocks on the year,
Zoe Zutes led the conference in blocked shots this year.
Against Geneseo: The Knights swept the regular season series this year against Brockport, with wins of 75-42 and 60-43. Brockport's last win over Geneseo came back in January of 2020, 63-56.
Stephanie Jean-Baptiste scored double-digits in both regular season matchups, averaging 12.0 points a game against the Knights. Geneseo's #23 Laruen Romito had a double-double in both bouts, averaging 19.5 points and 14.0 boards against Brockport this year. The Knights earned the No. 4 seed with a record of 18-7 overall and 13-5 in the conference.
Final Four at New Paltz: All roads lead to New Paltz, NY as the No. 1 seeded Hawks will be hosting the semifinal and final rounds on February 24-25
th. Brockport and Geneseo battle it out for a date with New Paltz in the SUNYAC Semifinals on Friday at 5:30pm.
