Brockport, N.Y- The Brockport men's lacrosse team returns home to face off with Nazareth College on Wednesday, March 2
nd at 4 pm before opening SUNYAC play with a matchup against Oswego State on Saturday, March 25
th at 3 pm.

Recent Outings: The Golden Eagles secured a road victory over Utica last Wednesday 10-4. The Green and Gold jumped out to an 8-0 advantage in the third period and never looked back, fueled by two-goal efforts from juniors

Cameron Kuzniar came away with the win, making 11 saves and allowing just 4 goals in over 49 minutes of action.

Brockport fell to St. Mary's College in Maryland last Saturday 12-6. Brockport entered the 2
nd period tied 1-1 before 5 straight Seahawk goals allowed the game to get away from the Green and Gold. Sophomore
Nate Askin continued his hot start, accounting for half of Brockport's goals with his hat-trick effort, good for his 10
th goal of the year. Brockport fell to 2-4 following the loss.
SUNYAC Honors:Â GoalieÂ
Cameron Kuzniar was selected as the SUNYAC Men's Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week. Kuzniar played a total of 109:07 minutes, making a total of 28 saves, allowing 16 goals, and posting a save percentage of 63.6. Going 1-1 on the week, he tied his career-high of 17 saves against St. Mary's on the road.
Heating Up: After recording 2 goals and 3 points across his first three games, Midfielder
Nate Askin is beginning to find his grove. The sophomore from Geneva has recorded 8 goals and 10 total points in his last three outings, tied for first on Brockport in goals (10) and tied for second in points (13) on the young season.

Impact Freshman: Bobby Alexander has made an instant impact for the Golden Eagles thus far, leading the team in ground balls (19), faceoff wins (37), and faceoff percentage (46.3%).

Scouting Nazareth: The Golden Flyers are coming off a 12-11 overtime win in Florida over Western New England that improved their record to 2-6. Nazareth is led by junior Quinn McKercher who has accounted for 15 goals and 21 points across 8 starts. Brockport is seeking its first win in the series (dating back to 2018) dropping last year's matchup 17-10. Â Â

Scouting Oswego St: The Lakers have gotten off to a 1-2 start, most recently losing to Hartwick college 12-6 at home. Junior Gavin Elston has accounted for 7 of Oswego's 22 total goals to begin the season. Oswego will have a road tilt with Utica before traveling to Brockport. The Golden Eagles will hope to continue the trend of the series, winning 8 of the last 10 against the Lakers dating back to 2013.
