Brockport, NY - The Brockport women's lacrosse team will return home for SUNYAC action this week, beginning with a matchup against SUNY Geneseo on Wednesday, April 19
th at 4pm. Saturday will be a Senior Day matchup with New Paltz at 3pm.
Last Time Out: The Golden Eagles picked up a road SUNYAC win at Oneonta by the score of 15-11 last Saturday.

Julia Quinlan, and
Alayna Foos all recorded hat tricks in the contest. Brockport would hold a lead for the entirety of the contest and
Erin Lant picked up the win in net with a strong 10 saves in the pipes in over 54 minutes of game action. The squad is now 5-6 overall and 4-2 in the conference.

Hot Streak: Senior
Cassidy Burnash has been far and away Brockport's most productive player on the offensive end this season, leading the Golden Eagles in goals (33), assists (26), and points (59). Burnash has recorded a goal or better in all 11 games thus far as well as at least two points in each contest. The Sackets Harbor native also ranks first in the SUNYAC with 20 assists against conference opponents.

Doing the Dirty Work: Senior
Courtney Cunningham has continued to produce a strong two-way season. She has scored 21 goals and leads the Golden Eagles with 40 ground balls. Cunningham also holds the lead in caused turnovers with 17 and draw controls with 49.Â
Saturday's Senior Day: Saturday's matchup with New Paltz will be Senior Day for the Golden Eagles. Prior to the game there will be a short ceremony to recognize and thank this year's graduating class. The three seniors that will be celebrated this weekend include
Cassidy Burnash,
Courtney Cunningham, and
Erin Lant.

Scouting Geneseo: The Knights hold an undefeated 6-0 record in SUNYAC play and a 10-3 record overall. Geneseo is coming off a road victory over New Paltz by the score of 11-2 and is currently on a 3-game winning streak. Brockport has dropped the last two matchups with Geneseo, including last year's SUNYAC tournament matchup 12-8.

Scouting New Paltz: The Hawks hold an 8-4 overall record, going 4-2 in SUNYAC play, good for 4
th in the conference. Â New Paltz is led offensively by junior Kaitlyn Shaw, who leads the Hawks with 39 goals and 47 total points. Brockport has dominated the head-to-head series, winning the last 10 matchups since 2013.
