Brockport, NY - The Brockport men's lacrosse team will return home to take on the Cardinals of Plattsburgh State on Saturday, April 22
nd at 12 pm.

Last Time Out: The Golden Eagles were outpaced by SUNY Cortland on the road 17-7 last Saturday. Sophomores
Mike O'Brien and
Garrett Smith recorded the first multi-goal games of their careers, both netting two in the contest. Three Red Dragons recorded hat tricks in the game, led by a 5-goal, 6-point effort from Troy Morris. Goalie
Cameron Kuzniar received the loss following a strong performance, making 19 saves in 59:40 of game action. Brockport fell to 3-8 overall and 1-3 in SUNYAC play following the loss.

Conference Finest: Despite a disappointing W/L record, goalie
Cameron Kuzniar has been rock solid in the crease for the Green and Gold. The Rochester native ranks among the best in the SUNYAC in many categories, including a conference-leading 245:35 minutes played across 4 conference games and ranking second in conference saves (70), and save percentage (61.9). Kuzniar's 177 overall saves are the most of all goaltenders in the SUNYAC. Â
Streaking Star: With his goal against Cortland, Senior
Jhovanny Olivares continued his impressive point streak, recording a goal or assist in 9 straight games. In his last 9 games, Olivares has accumulated 15 goals and 9 assists, good for 24 total points.
Scouting Plattsburgh: Plattsburgh will head to Brockport in search of their first conference win, holding a 0-4 record in SUNYAC play and a 2-10 record overall. The Cardinals are in the midst of a 10-game losing streak, most recently losing to SUNY Oneonta on the road 17-9. Plattsburgh is led by junior John Eiseman, who holds a team-leading 21 goals and 30 points. Brockport has taken the last two against Plattsburgh, including last year's dominating 13-1 win in Plattsburgh.
