Brockport, N.Y.- The Golden Eagles women's lacrosse team will wrap up its SUNYAC slate at home against Buffalo State on Wednesday, April 26
th at 4 pm.

Last Time Out: The Green and Gold hosted New Paltz on senior day last Saturday and came away with a 13-9 win over the Hawks.
Courtney Cunningham continued her tremendous season with a 5-goal effort, recording a hat trick with still 13:10 remaining in the second quarter.

Paige Thowe, and
Alayna Foos all found paydirt twice, with Foos, Thowe, and Cunningham leading all players with 4 ground balls each. The Golden Eagles improved to 6-7 overall and 5-3 in conference play following the win. The win also moved Brockport ahead of New Paltz in the SUNYAC standings and cliched the 4 seed for Brockport in the SUNYAC tournament.

Still Streaking: With her two-goal game against new Paltz,
Cassidy Burnash has extended her season-long goal/multiple-point streak to 13 games. In addition to her multiple-point streak, Burnash has recorded two goals or better in 12 of 13 games, including scoring 3 goals or more in 6 of 13 games.
Scouting Buffalo State: The Bengals hold a 6-8 record overall and a 2-6 record in SUNYAC play, currently sitting at 8
th in the conference and are eliminated from the SUNYAC tournament. Buffalo State is coming off 19-12 win over SUNY Potsdam, and is led by freshman Vanessa Willick, who leads the Bengals in goals (37), points (44), and ground balls (36). Brockport has dominated the head-to-head series since 2015, winning the last 9 matchups including last year's 21-4 win at Buffalo State.
Up Next: Following the conclusion of SUNYAC play, Brockport will host an opening round SUNYAC tournament on Saturday, April 29th at 7pm with the opponent to still be determined.
