Brockport, N.Y.- The Golden Eagles men's lacrosse team will wrap up its SUNYAC slate with a road matchup with SUNY Geneseo on Wednesday, April 26
th at 7 pm, before taking on New Paltz in senior day action at home on Saturday, April 29
th at 1 pm.

Last Time Out: Brockport defeated Plattsburgh State at home 12-7 last Saturday.
The Golden Eagles rode a commanding 8-3 halftime advantage, thanks to early goals from
Ben Hay and
Nate Askin, both Hay and Askin would finish the contest with hat tricks.
Andrew DiPalma set the Green and Gold up for success in the faceoff circle, winning 14/21 faceoffs and finding the back of the net for his first goal of the season.
Cameron Kuzniar earned the win with a dominating 11-save performance in 51:51 of game action. Brockport improved to 4-8 overall and 2-3 in SUNYAC play.

New Record Holder: Goalie
Cameron Kuzniar put the cherry on top of a historic season between the pipes, becoming the new single-season saves leader, surpassing John Contratto's record of 186 saves, a record that has stood for over 20 years.

Standout Defender: Anthony McGee has brought much needed stability to the Golden Eagles' defense this season. Across 5 SUNYAC games, McGee ranks 4
th in the conference with 24 ground balls, as well as ranking 3
rd in caused turnovers with 9.

Scouting Geneseo: The Knights hold an overall record of 11-4 and a perfect 5-0 record in SUNYAC play, most recently taking down Oswego on the road in convincing fashion, winning 15-5. Geneseo boasts a balanced offensive attack with 3 players will 30+ goals and 5 players with 30 points or more. The Golden Eagles have not fared well against the Knights recently, losing the last six matchups against the Knights dating back to 2018.
Scouting New Paltz: The Hawks sit at 6-6 on the season with a 2-3 record in conference play, they are coming off a 14-12 SUNYAC win at home against SUNY Potsdam last Saturday. Thomas Armetta and John Reese lead the charge for New Paltz with 54 combined goals and 83 points, accounting for 36.8% of New Paltz's total goal production. The Green and Gold dominated last year's meeting, winning on the road 15-5.
