Brockport, NY- The Brockport men's lacrosse team will look to end its 4-game slide this weekend on the road. The squad is set to face SUNY Potsdam on Saturday, April 8
th at 1 pm.

Last Time Out: Brockport dropped its second SUNYAC contest of the season at home against Oneonta 8-5 last Saturday.
Jhovanny Olivares recorded his second hat trick of the young season, with his second goal bringing the Green and Gold within one goal in the second. Following
Carson Colucci's third-period goal to bring Brockport back within one, the Red Dragons would respond by scoring 4 of the last 6 goals in the game to win 8-5. Brockport fell to 2-7 following the loss.

Cam's Crease: Goalie
Cameron Kuzniar has played nearly every minute of action for the Green and Gold, logging over 528 of the possible 540 minutes in the crease. Despite his 2-7 record, Kuzniar has been stellar in net, accumulating 144 saves in 9 starts and saving over 60% of the shots he has faced.

Two-Way Excellence: Senior
Jack Peterson has been getting it done on both sides for the Golden Eagles to begin the season. In addition to his team's second 13 goals, Peterson has scooped up 14 ground balls on the year and caused 4 turnovers. Sophomore
Nate Askin has done much of the same, scoring a team-high 15 goals on the season and collecting 13 ground balls.

Room for Improvement: Despite losing 4 of their last 6, the Golden Eagles have been outscored but just one goal over that stretch, losing two of their last three by just one goal, with those losses coming against Oswego State (9-8) and Nazareth College (11-10). Brockport has led or forced a tie in 3 of their 4 straight defeats, including holding a 3 goal advantage against Oswego St.

Scouting Potsdam: The Bears also find themselves in the midst of a losing streak, losing most recently to SUNY Cortland on the road 16-8 for Potsdam's third straight defeat, falling to 5-4 on the season and 0-2 in SUNYAC play. SUNY Potsdam is fronted by senior Peyton Walsh who has started all 9 games for the Bears and holds the team leads in goals with 29 and total points with 37. Brockport has been victorious in 3 of the last 4 against Potsdam, including last year's 12-6 win at home over the Bears. Â
