Brockport, NY - The Brockport tennis team returns to action for SUNYAC play on Wednesday, September 20
th at 4 pm to take on Geneseo on the road, before participating in the ITA Tournament from September 23
rd to the 25
th in Geneva.

Last Time Out: Brockport fell on the road to undrafted Alfred 8-1 last Friday. The Golden Eagles' lone point came from the #3 doubles team of
Sophie Langdon and
Olivia Chiu. The duo secured their first win of the 2023 season against Anna Gwozdz and Alexis Giordano (7-7, 7-2). The Green and Gold fell to 1-4 on the season following the loss.

Strong Performers: Eliza Gonzalez has started strong in both the top singles and top doubles with
Olivia Raschiatore. Gonzalez has posted a 6-4 overall record to begin the year, with the duo of Gonzalez and
Olivia Raschiatore beginning the year with an excellent 4-1 record in doubles. The duo of
Samantha Aubin and
Shannon Aubin have posted a strong 3-1 record in 3
rd doubles.

ITA Tournament: Eliza Gonzalez and
Olivia Raschiatore will take part in the ITA Tournament from September 23
rd to September 25
th at Hobart and William Smith College. Gonzalez will participate in the 1
st singles and 1
st doubles division, with Raschiatore taking part in the 2
nd singles and 1
st doubles division.

Scouting Geneseo: The Knights have gotten off to a 3-1 start to the 2023 season, most recently defeating Fredonia 8-1. Brockport will look to secure its first win against Geneseo since 2004.
