Brockport Battles for 3-1 Win Over Plattsburgh to Open SUNYAC Play

Brockport, NY – In the SUNYAC opener, the Golden Eagle volleyball team defended The Vlog with a 3-1 win over Plattsburgh State. Brockport improves to 5-8 overall and 1-0 in conference play.

In the first set, the Green and Gold took the opening point with a 25-16 showing to start the night. The next two sets would be heavily contested, as the Cardinals fought for every point. They would come back from a 24-20 deficit in the second to pull out a 30-28 win.

Brockport would hold off another comeback attempt in the third set for a 25-22 win, going up 2-1 on the night. On the home floor, the squad closed out the match with a strong, 25-14, fourth set to clinch the 3-1 victory.
