Geneseo, NY- The Brockport women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 loss at Geneseo on Friday, October 11^th. The Golden Eagles fell to 2-7 overall and 2-5 in Empire 8 play following the loss.
 
In 1^st doubles, Olivia Raschiatore and Cara Vasile were defeated by Natalie Pipes and Sam Rava of Geneseo, 8-4.
 
Lena Paolicelli and Kathleen Rodgers represented Brockport in 2^nd doubles, suffering an 8-0 sweep.
 
Olivia Chiu and Sophie Langdon rounded out doubles play for Brockport, falling in 3^rd doubles 8-2.
 
In 1^st singles, Olivia Raschiatore dropped back-to-back sets against Natalie Pipes (6-1, 6-0).
 
Cara Vasile competed in 2^nd singles, coming up short in her match against Sam Rava in two sets (6-1, 6-2).
 
Lena Paolicelli (3^rd singles) and Sophie Langdon (4^th singles) were both defeated in two sets (6-2, 6-3).
 
Erin McMichael was taken down by Joanne Catalano of Geneseo in 5^th singles (6-0, 6-1).
 
Rounding out singles play, Madison Ballone fell in two sets in 6^th singles action (6-1, 6-3).
