Box Score Brockport, NY- The Brockport women's tennis team was eliminated from the Empire 8 Championships from the Mendon Racquet Club on Wednesday, October 16^th, falling to #3 seed Nazareth in the first round 5-0.
 
Lena Paolicelli and Cara Vasile served as Brockport's top doubles team, falling to Kenna Ellis and Catherine Zak of the Golden Flyers 8-0.
 
Olivia Chiu and Sophie Langdon represented Brockport in 2^nd doubles, dropping to Sarah Stone and Ali Klee of Nazareth 8-2.
 
Kathleen Rodgers and Hannah Gardner rounded out doubles play for Brockport, falling in 3^rd doubles 8-1.
 
Olivia Raschiatore competed in 1^st singles for Brockport, coming up short against Catherine Zak in back-to-back sets (6-0, 6-1).  
 
Cara Vasile faced off with Kenna Ellis of the Golden Flyers in 2^nd singles, dropping back-to-back sets (6-1, 6-1).  
 
In 4^th singles, Sophie Langdon was defeated in two sets against Victoria Cioni of Nazareth (6-3, 6-0).  
 
The Golden Eagles finished the season with a 3-8 overall record, securing an Empire 8 postseason berth as a first-year member of the conference.
