Geneseo, NY – The SUNY Brockport volleyball team reverse swept the Geneseo Knights on the road Wednesday night, 3-2. The Golden Eagles improved to 11-6 overall and 4-1 in Empire 8 play.
To start the match, the hosting Knights were in complete control. They won the first two sets, 25-17 and 25-21, to go up 2-0. Then Brockport turned it around to win the next three sets in a row 25-22, 25-23, and 15-13 to win the match 3-2.
Alenna Williamson led the team with 11 kills and had five block assists.
Alexis Sison had 10 kills, 15 digs, and four service aces.
Kaitlyn Jewett had 25 assists, 10 digs, and five service aces.
Elsie Logan had 18 digs and
Gianna Felipe had 17 digs for Brockport.
Lauren Emke had five block assists, while
Alyssa Bruno had three solo blocks and two assisted denials.
The Golden Eagles are at home this weekend for a pair of matchups to continue Empire 8 play. They will host Utica on Friday at 7pm and SUNY Poly at 1pm on Saturday.
