Brockport, NY- The Brockport women's basketball team scored a non-conference win at home against Hamilton, 78-71, on Tuesday, November 19
th.

Kaileigh Hunt led the way for Brockport, dropping 17 points and nine rebounds, both team-highs for the Golden Eagles.

The Golden Eagles came out strong in the opening quarter, outscoring Hamilton 27-15 in the first on 50% shooting from the floor.

Hamilton would roar back in the second, holding the Golden Eagles offense to just 10 points in the period. Taylor Lambo would lead the comeback, finishing the game with 24 points on an excellent 70% shooting.

Coming out of haltime down by four, the Golden Eagles would take control of the second half. Down 53-51 with 2:14 left in the third, Brockport would end the quarter on a 4-0 run to take a 55-53 lead into the fourth.

The final period would be highly contested, with Kendall Harris hitting a midrange jumper to tie the game at 64-64 with 4:11 left.

After several lead changes, three straight points from
Kaileigh Hunt would give Brockport a two-point edge with just over a minute remaining.

Stephanie Jean-Baptiste would come up big in crunch time, dropping four straight points to put the game away for Brockport.

The turnover battle swung the contest in Brockport's favor, committing just 16 turnovers to Hamilton's 24.

Freshman
Peyton Maneri came up big on both ends, dropping 15 points with four steals.

Harmony Philo came through from deep for Brockport, dropping 10 points on 50% from deep (2-4 3PT).

Stephanie Jean-Baptiste rounded out the double-digit scorers, dropping 12 points with two steals.
