Brockport, NY - On Monday, it was announced that Gavin McLaughlin of the Brockport wrestling team was chosen as the Empire 8 Men's Wrestler of the Week.

At the season opening meet, the Messiah Invitational, over this past weekend, McLaughlin had a strong showing. At the 174-division, he took third place at the competition to score 18 points for the Golden Eagles.

Brockport will head to Oswego on Saturday, November 9th for a dual meet at 1pm.
