Brockport, NY - The Brockport women's basketball team dominated the fourth quarter in route to a 71-55 win over Oswego State on Saturday, February 10th. The Golden Eagles improved to 13-11 overall and 9-8 in conference play following the win, officially clinching a spot in the SUNYAC Tournament for the fourth time in the last five seasons. 
Finishing with 19 points and 16 rebounds, Zairea Hannah now has 302 rebounds on the season. This surpasses the previous single season rebounding record of 289, set back during the 1999-2000 season by Jen Feneli.
Brockport would control the opening frame, with Anna Lee burying a three-point hit with three seconds remaining to put the Green and Gold ahead by 12 entering the second quarter. The Golden Eagles shot a strong 58.8% from the floor, compared to just 22.2% shooting for the Lakers in the first quarter.
Oswego State would flip the script in the second quarter, out-scoring Brockport 22-10 in the quarter to enter the halftime break tied at 34-34.
At the 7:58 mark in the third quarter, Zairea Hannah would make history, setting a new single-season program record in rebounding. Hannah would put together one of her best performance as a Golden Eagle, scoring 19 points with 16 rebounds, three assists, and two blocks.
A tight third quarter saw the Lakers take a 2-point lead into the final frame, thanks in part to Giavanna White-Principio and her team-high 15 points in the contest.
The Golden Eagles would put their stamp on the game in the fourth. They scored 25 points in the quarter compared to just seven for Oswego, cruising to a 16-point win.
Stephanie Jean-Baptiste paced the offense with 16 points, chipping in on the glass with six rebounds.
Mandy Brink was effective throughout, scoring 15 points and going 3-for-5 shooting from three (60%).
Anna Lee played a strong two-way game for Brockport, scoring 11 points and snatching four steals.
Zoe Zutes chipped in with eight points, eight rebounds, two assists and two blocks.
