Brockport, NY - The Brockport men's lacrosse team will host Ohio Northern University on Saturday, March 2^nd at 11am.
 
Last Time Out: The Golden Eagles were defeated in their home opener against Clarkson, 17-7, on Wednesday, February 28^th. Brockport fell to 0-2 to begin the season following the loss.
 
Nick Askin would finish with five goals in an excellent effort, adding a caused turnover and a ground ball.
 
Nick Maslin and Jackson Worden scored a goal each, with Marc Zappula chipping in a pair of assists.
 
Andrew DiPalma won the faceoff battle for Brockport, winning 18 of 27 draws.  
 
Dynamic Duo: Though two games, Nick Askin and Marc Zappula have emerged as the top point scorers for Brockport. In his first two outings as a Golden Eagle, Nick Askin has racked up nine goals on 24 shots, adding three ground balls and a caused turnover. As the lone Brockport player with multiple assists, Marc Zappula has been the key distributor for Brockport, recording six assists and half of them (3) have resulted in Nick Askin goals.
 
Scouting Ohio Northern: Ohio Northern is off to a 2-1 start, recently picking up a dominant 18-5 win over Allegheny (PA). Aidan Dempsey has led the charge offensively, leading the team with 14 points (10G, 4A) in just three games. This weekend will mark a rare meeting between the Golden Eagles and Polar Bears.
