Brockport, NY - The Brockport men's lacrosse team will head to New Wilmington, PA to take on Westminster College on Saturday, March 9^th at 1 p.m. 
 
Last Time Out: The Golden Eagles dropped an overtime battle with Ohio Northern last Saturday, 13-12. Brockport fell to 0-3 to begin the season following the loss. 
 
Nick Askin would finish with four points in a hat trick effort, adding an assist.
 
Nate Askin would finish with four points himself, coming through with two goals and two assists.
 
Marc Zappula was a perfect 4-for-4, burying all of his shots on net for four goals.
 
Andrew DiPalma was excellent on faceoffs, taking 21 of 29 draws. 
 
Carrying the Load: As Brockport's top three scorers, the trio of Nick Askin, Marc Zappula, and Jackson Worden have made up the majority of the Golden Eagles offensive output. The trio has combined for 20 goals and 27 points, making up over 71% of Brockport's goal production, along with 67.5% of the team's total points. 
 
Doing the Dirty Work: Through three games, Andrew DiPalma has been excellent from the faceoff circle. DiPalma has won 52 of 85 (61.2%) draws to begin the season, leading Brockport with 18 ground balls. DiPalma also added a goal in the Golden Eagles' season opener against St. John Fisher. 
 
Scouting Westminster: The Titans have jumped out to a 2-1 start, most recently defeating Adrian at home, 12-10 on Tuesday. Gavin Jones has led Westminster in scoring, racking up an impressive 11 goals and 15 points across 3 games. The Golden Eagles came out on top in last year's meeting, defeating the Titans 14-10.
