Brockport, NY- The Brockport men's lacrosse team will host Utica in non-conference action on Wednesday, April 10
th at 4 p.m.

Last Time Out: The Golden Eagles came up short at home against Cortland,11-10, on Saturday, April 6
th. Brockport dropped to 2-8 on the year following the loss with a 1-2 mark in SUNYAC play.

Nick Askin would break the program record for single-season goals. Askin would finish with a team-high 3 goals, with his second coming from an assist fromÂ
Tim Hubbard.

Nate Askin led the Golden Eagles with 4 points, burying two goals with two assists.

Daniel Wright posted a multi-point outing, adding a goal and an assist for the Green and Gold.

Andrew DiPalma would go 14-24 in the faceoff circle, adding 5 ground balls and a goal in a well-rounded effort.

Tim Hubbard was excellent on defense, forcing 3 turnovers and scooping up a team-high 6 ground balls.

Gavin Miller was strong in defeat, saving 18 shots and allowing just 11 goals.

Andrew DiPalma and
Nick Askin have been excellent throughout for the Golden Eagles, each holding a conference-best mark in their respective statistical category. DiPalma leads the SUNYAC conference in ground balls per game (6.90), with Askin leading all goal scorers with 4.1 goals per game (8
th best nationally).

Scouting Utica: The Pioneers currently sit at 4-7 overall and 0-3 in Empire 8 play, amid a 3-game losing streak. Sam Serrano leads the offensive charge for Utica, leading the team with 22 goals and 34 points on the season. Brockport will look to maintain dominance in the head-to-head series, defeating Utica in their last 3 meetings.
