Brockport, NY – On Saturday, the Golden Eagle women's soccer team tied Skidmore College, 0-0, at home. Following opening weekend, Brockport is 1-0-1 to start the season.
 
Getting the start in net once again, 
Karissa Champion made three saves in the first half during her shift. Brockport had four shots in the first 45 minutes of play, but neither team found the back of the net.
 
At halftime, the Green and Gold made the move to bring 
Madeline McCrosson in to protect the net. She finished the game with two saves in her 45 minutes of action.
 
Although the Golden Eagles had six corner kick opportunities compared to just three for their opponent, Skidmore still outshot them, 13-10.
 
Jaylah Cossin and 
McKenna Slate both placed a pair of shots on frame, but Skidmore's Avery Rogers made all four saves.
 
Brockport and Skidmore both had two shots on goal in the second half, but with no score the match resulted in a 0-0 draw.
 
Thiel College is up next on the schedule for the Golden Eagles. The match will be at home once again at 1pm on Saturday, September 7
th.
