Fredonia, NY - The Brockport Women's Tennis team came up short in their season opener at Fredonia, 4-3, on Saturday, August 31^st.
 
Kathleen Rogers and Lena Paolicelli picked up a win in second doubles action, defeating Sophie Olsen and Claire Lefevre 6-1.
 
Sophie Langdon and Olivia Chiu did much of the same in third doubles, picking up another 6-1 win for the Golden Eagles.
 
Olivia Raschiatore lost a hard-fought match in 1^st singles, falling to Bernie Gens of Fredonia (5-7, 6-3, 6-0).
 
Lena Paolicelli went 2-0 on the day, picking up a dominant 6-2, 6-0, win in third singles against Gabbi Fert of Fredonia.
 
Rounding out the wins for Brockport, Madison Ballone picked up her first win as a Golden Eagle, winning in 6^th singles action (6-7, 6-1, 6-3).
