Brockport, NY – The Brockport women's soccer team dominated the Keuka College Wolves, 4-0, at the Community and Youth Game on Homecoming Weekend. With their sixth shutout of the 2024 season, the Golden Eagles improve to 5-0-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
The Golden Eagles had a total of 38 shots, with 18 on net, compared to Keuka's five with just two on goal.
Early on into the game at 5:39, sophomore
Brianna Marino found the back of the net for her first of the year off an assist by freshman
Ella Camalleri.
Jaylah Cossin wasted no time in the second half shooting and scoring with an unassisted goal at 46:10. Just four minutes later came another unassisted goal, this time from sophomore
Amelia Breton.
Before the end of the second period,
McKenna Slate scored at 88:50 with an assist by
Caitlin Nelson. The late goal cemented the dominant 4-0 victory to celebrate Homecoming Weekend.
All three goal keepers found time between the pipes in the contest.
Madeline McCrosson played the first 53:04 minutes in goal, then
Karissa Champion stepped in for 27:25 with two saves, and
Emily McCane finished out the final 9:31.
Up Next – Next week, the squad will travel to Hilbert on Wednesday, September 25th at 4pm. Brockport will go on to host Hartwick at the A. Huntley Parker Jr. Field on Saturday, September 28th at 3pm for Girls Youth Soccer Day.
