Brockport, NY - On Friday, September 27th, the SUNY Brockport women's tennis team hosted Nazareth for some Empire 8 action. The visiting Golden Flyers walked away with the win, 7-2. Brockport moves to 0-6 overall and 0-4 in the conference.
In doubles play, it was
Olivia Chiu and
Sophie Langdon that scored a point for the Golden Eagles. Earning the tiebreaker point, 7-4, they stole the third doubles matchup 8-7.
Kathleen Rogers and
Lena Paolicelli battled in second doubles, before ultimately falling 8-4.
Grace Trebilcock stole Brockport's lone singles point on the day from her fifth singles matchup. Going to a third set, Trebilcock won the tiebreaking set 10-8.
Erin McMichael also went to the third set in sixth singles, falling 10-8 in her tiebreaker opportunity.

Lena Paolicelli (third singles), and
Sophie Langdon (4th singles) each lost in straight sets during solo play.
The Golden Eagles are right back on their home courts on Saturday for another E8 clash. They welcome Alfred University for a 1pm start.
