Brockport, NY- The Brockport women's basketball team defeated Elmira 74-53 on Friday, January 17th at Speidel Gymnasium in Elmira, NY.

Stephanie Jean-Baptiste led the team with 14 points and contributed significantly in the playmaking department with six assists.

Peyton Maneri also made an impact, scoring 11 points and showcasing her shooting efficiency with five field goals.

Kaileigh Hunt opened the scoring for Brockport with a layup assisted by
Cam Tooley, who later added a pair of free throws to tie the game at 29 with 0:30 remaining.

Stephanie Jean-Baptiste led a scoring streak, with Jean-Baptiste capitalizing on fast breaks to maintain Brockport's competitive edge throughout the quarter. Despite the Soaring Eagles' late comeback, the quarter concluded with both teams tied at 29.

Peyton Maneri scoring a layup at 9:00.
