Brockport, NY - The Brockport women's basketball defeated Keuka 80-58 on Saturday, January 18th at the JMW Recreation and Athletics Center in Keuka Park, NY. This victory marked the Golden Eagles' seventh straight win, cementing their impressive 13-2 start to the season, the best in the program's history.

Claire Turner stood out for the Golden Eagles with a perfect shooting performance, making all six of her field goal attempts to score 12 points, and excelling defensively with six steals.

Shannon Blankenship made an impact with nine points and led the team with three assists while recording three steals.

Mandy Brink contributed offensively and defensively, scoring seven points and securing two steals.

Kaileigh Hunt added nine points and was efficient from the field, hitting three out of five shots, and adding a block.

In the first quarter, the Golden Eagles quickly took control defensively, forcing eight turnovers from Keuka.
Stephanie Jean-Baptiste played a pivotal role early on, adding consecutive layups to push the score to 8-0. The quarter concluded with Jean-Baptiste recording another fastbreak layup, extending the Golden Eagles' lead to 19-11.

The squad would post a strong second quarter, outscoring Keuka 29-14 and extending their lead significantly.
Anna Lee extended the lead with multiple successful jumpers and was assisted by
Shannon Blankenship, who also added a 3-pointer at 8:12.

In the third quarter, the Golden Eagles extended their lead over Keuka with a solid performance.
Stephanie Jean-Baptiste started the quarter with a layup, and
Kaileigh Hunt added a jumper shortly after, fueling Brockport's early scoring.
Claire Turner and
Anna Lee capitalized on Keuka's turnovers with a jumper and a fast-break score, respectively, increasing the lead to 59-36.
Shannon Blankenship would drill another 3-pointer, helping the Golden Eagles outscore Keuka 15-13 in the quarter.

In the fourth quarter,
Mandy Brink made an immediate impact with a steal and a layup at 9:30, increasing the lead to 67-41.
Harmony Philo contributed with a jumper early on, while
Madison Misser added four points, including two free throws that extended the lead to 73-44.
Claire Turner and
Madeline Hoak were active on defense, each securing key rebounds. Despite Keuka's efforts, including a late 3-pointer and a few free throws, the Golden Eagles maintained control to finish the quarter with an 80-58 victory.
