Brockport, NY- The Brockport women's basketball team defended home court, defeating Keuka 82-42 on Friday at the Jim and John Vlogianitis Gym, marking their 11th straight win. The Golden Eagles improved to 17-2 overall with a 10-0 mark in E8 play.

Stephanie Jean-Baptiste led  Brockport with 20 points and added six assists and two steals in her excellent performance.

Peyton Maneri contributed significantly with 13 points and led the team with four steals.

Kaileigh Hunt also made an impact with her defensive prowess, recording two steals and grabbing six rebounds.

Shannon Blankenship had a solid outing, grabbing six rebounds and adding 11 points.

Claire Turner was a key rebounder, collecting seven boards to lead the team in that category.

In the first quarter, the Golden Eagles set the pace, starting with a layup from
Stephanie Jean-Baptiste at 10:00 and continuing to build momentum. Brockport would capitalize on fast breaks, with
Harmony Philo adding a 3-pointer and
Mandy Brink successfully converting a free throw to push the score to 14-4. By the end of the quarter, Brockport led 23-7, backed by strong defensive plays and efficient scoring, including another key layup from Jean-Baptiste.

In the second quarter, SUNY Brockport maintained a steady scoring pace, with
Anna Lee and
Stephanie Jean-Baptiste each contributing points through jumpers and layups. Despite some missed free throws, the team capitalized on turnovers, with
Cam Tooley and
Kaileigh Hunt each recording steals, contributing to a 35-23 lead by the end of the quarter.

The Green and Gold extended their lead in the third quarter, outscoring the Wolves 21-8.
Stephanie Jean-Baptiste was instrumental, assisting on two key plays, including a layup by
Peyton Maneri at 5:32, which contributed to a 9-point scoring run for Brockport.

Peyton Maneri at 9:23, putting the team ahead 58-31. The Green and Gold demonstrated effective ball movement and defense, culminating in a 26-point quarter while limiting the Wolves to 11 points.
