Utica, NY – The Golden Eagles completed their weekend sweep with a 3-0 win over SUNY Poly on Saturday, following yesterday's 3-0 win over Utica. Now on a 6-match win streak, Brockport is 6-1 in the Empire 8 with a 13-7 overall record.
 
The first set was all Brockport, in a nearly perfect effort to start the match. The squad dominated, 25-8, with 14 kills, six aces, and no attack errors.
 
The 1-0 lead turned into a 2-0 lead, as Brockport took the second set, 25-20. The Golden Eagles finished the match off with a 25-19 win in the third and final set.
 
Luba Butcher led the Green and Gold with 11 kills in the match. She also added two aces, eight digs, and four total blocks (2 solo, 2 assisted). With eight kills and no errors on 11 tries, Alexis Sison posted an incredible .727 attack percentage across two sets of action.
 
Ellie Cusmano also had eight kills in two sets, while Ana Parella contributed seven kills of her own. Cusmano got up for a solo block, while Parella was credited with a pair of block assists.
 
Gianna Felipe had nine digs to lead the group and scored with three service aces. Kaitlyn Jewett had a clean night for the Golden Eagles with 34 assists, no errors, and four aces on the serve.
 
Brockport is on the road again for its next E8 matchup against Alfred University on Friday, October 24^th at 6pm.
