Rochester, NY – The Brockport women's volleyball team lost its first E8 matchup of the season to St. John Fisher, 3-0. The Golden Eagles are now 7-7 overall and 0-1 in conference play.
 
The first set went the way of the hosting Cardinals, 25-16. From there Brockport would drop the second set, 25-13, to go down 0-2 in the match. St. John Fisher (16-1, 1-0 E8) would complete the sweep with a 25-17 showing in the third set.
 
Freshman Ana Parella had an efficient five kills (.500 pct) to go with an ace and two digs. Classmate Madisen Jones had four kills offensively.
 
Kaitlyn Jewett put up 11 assists and seven digs on the night. Gianna Felipe also had seven digs in the match.
 
Totaling 5.0 points for the Golden Eagles, Lauren Emke got up for two block assists and one solo block. Alexis Sison got up for one solo and one assisted block.
 
Brockport looks to bounce back against Nazareth at home in The Vlog for another E8 clash. The match is scheduled for a 2pm start.
