Brockport, NY – The men's and women's cross country teams are set to head to St. John Fisher University to compete in the Empire 8 Championships, where teams will fight for the 2025 Empire 8 Title on Saturday, November 1
st. The men's 8k will start at 11am and the women's 6k at 12pm.

Last Time Out – On Saturday, October 18
th, the squad traveled to New London, CT where they competed in the Connecticut College Invitational with high competition. The team's had two different races, consisting of the white race to start, moving on to the blue race to finish out the day.
In the white race, Brady Reudiger took first for the Golden Eagles and 103
rd overall at a time of 27:05.24.
Kyle Deromanis finished up in second for Brockport and 127
th with a mark of 27:27.50.
Just .23 seconds later, Nahuel Gutierrez crossed the line in 128
th place with a time of 27:27.73.
In the blue race, Aidan Mayer placed first for the Green and Gold taking 134
th overall with a time of 26:06.54.
Shortly after, Howie Vargas ran for 26:23.57, good for 164
th overall and second for Brockport.
Caleb Belanger finished up in 187
th overall, crossing the finish line at a time of 26:46.41 clinching third for Brockport.
In the women's white race,
Salvatrice Piccolo took first for the Golden Eagles and 103
rd in the competition at a time of 24:23.8.
Just two places later in 105
th,
Natalie Heselton crossed the finish line with a time of 24:28.7.
Hailey Morrison took 143
rd overall, finishing up at a mark of 24:56.9.
In the women's blue 6k race,
Ethne Degan ran for a strong time of 22:55.27 good for 115
th and first for Brockport.
Taking 158
th overall was
Salma Moument, crossing the finish line at a mark of 23:20.40.
Maeve Robarge ran for 23:50.47 to finish up in 199
th place, and just one place later,
Esther Nankumba crossed the line in 200
th with a time of 23:50.62.
2024 E8 Championship Recap – Last season, Brockport competed in the E8 Championships for the first year being in the conference. The men's team finished in second place with 50 points, and the women took fifth with 106 points.

Following E8's – The Golden Eagles are set to take a weekend off to prep for the NCAA Niagara Region Championships which will take place on Saturday, November 15
th at RIT.
