Brockport, NY – The Golden Eagles swept the Russell Sage Gators on Senior Night for Brockport volleyball's ninth straight win. Brockport improves to 9-1 in the Empire 8 with a 16-7 overall record.
 
It was Senior Night for Brockport, so prior to the start of the match a short ceremony was held to recognize Anna Cascapera, Gianna Felipe, Regina Salazar, Alexis Sison, and Alenna Williamson.
 
The Golden Eagles would continue the celebration with a 25-19 win in the first set to go up 1-0. They would add to the lead in the second, claiming the set 25-21. Brockport completed the 3-0 sweep with a 25-14.
 
Cascapera would lead Brockport with 10 kills in front of the Senior Night crowd. She also added two aces and seven digs.
 
Alenna Williamson had nine kills and no errors on 17 attempts (.529 pct). Williamson even included five digs and two block assists.
 
Alexis Sison registered eight kills, six digs, and two aces. Kaitlyn Jewett set the hitters up on the way to 26 assists. Jewett also added six digs and three aces.
 
Gianna Felipe celebrated her senior night with a team-high 10 digs as the libero. Felipe matched Jewett with three aces.
 
The Golden Eagles close out the regular season at home on Saturday with a 2pm matchup against Hartwick at The Vlog.
