Brockport, NY – Wednesday evening on A. Huntley Parker Jr. Field, the Brockport women's soccer team took down Nazareth at home, 1-0. The Golden Eagles improved to 8-0-3 overall and 6-0 in E8 conference play.
With the win tonight, Head Coach
Mike Idland has now led Brockport to back-to-back seasons with an undefeated mark through 11 games. The team went 10-0-1 through 11 games in 2024 and is now 8-0-3 in 2025.
Within the first 10 minutes of the game, the Golden Eagles would light up the scoreboard to take a lead in front of the home crowd.

While Brockport held an early 1-0 lead through the entire first half, Nazareth entered the break with an edge in shots, 4-1. Goalkeeper
Emily McCane was able to make a pair of saves in the opening half to hold onto the one goal lead.
Both teams came out to battle in the second half, setting the table for an exciting finish. While the Green and Gold worked to hold onto the lead, Nazareth kept applying pressure looking for the equalizer.
Nazareth ended up outshooting Brockport, 11-5, with a 9-3 advantage in corner kick opportunities. However, a gutsy showing defensively in the second half kept the Golden Flyers out of the goal.
Madeline McCrosson came up with two saves to help secure the shutout for Brockport.
The Golden Eagles have now won four in a row, outscoring their opponents 17-0 in that span. They put their win streak on the line on Saturday, when they travel to St. John Fisher for a 1pm match.
