BROCKPORT, NY - On Monday, November 10th, the Empire 8 Conference released its selections for Field Hockey All-Conference and Individual Awards. The Golden Eagles earned three All-Conference selections, with
Terralyn McLaughlin earning Empire 8 Sportswomen of the Year honors.
Empire 8 Second Team/ Empire 8 Sportswoman of the Year:
Terralyn McLaughlinÂ
Terralyn McLaughlin lands on the All-Conference Second Team following a breakout sophomore season as one of Brockport's most dynamic players. Starting all 18 games for Brockport, McLaughlin finished tied for the team lead in points (17), leading all Brockport players with five assists on the year. McLaughlin finished the 2025 season with a team second-most 984 minutes played.
Empire 8 Second Team:
Sophia Jones
Sophia Jones earned All-Conference Second Team honors following a strong year as a lockdown midfielder for the Green and Gold. Jones was excellent defensively alongside
Terralyn McLaughlin in the Brockport midfield, with Jones recording two defensive saves on the season. The junior from Akron, NY, added two goals and an assist offensively for five points on the season.Â
Empire 8 Third Team:
Elise Brady
Elise Brady rounded out the All-Conference Selections for Brockport, landing on the Third Team after a breakout freshman season. Brady powered the offense with a team-leading eight goals, with four serving as game winners. Brady's 17 points tied
Terralyn McLaughlin for the team lead, with the freshman playing in all 18 games on the season (14 starts).Â
