The SUNY Brockport football team earned its ninth consecutive postseason berth Monday as the Golden Eagles were selected to host the 2025 ECAC Robert M. "Scotty" Whitelaw Bowl Game against the Geneva College (Pa.) on Saturday, November 22nd at 12 p.m. at Bob Boozer Field.

The Golden Eagles finished the regular season with a 6-4 overall record and a 4-3 ledger in the Empire 8 Conference. Geneva College, located in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, posted a 6-4 overall record and a 6-2 mark in the President's Athletic Conference.

Brockport's offense is led on the ground by
Isaiah Simmons who ranks sixth nationally with 1,338 yards this season. He also ranks seventh nationally in total points scored (120). Brockport boasts one of the top defenses in the country and capped the regular season ranked 32nd nationally in scoring defense, allowing an average of just 16.0 points per game. Brockport finished the regular season ranked seventh nationally in total defense, allowing 210.2 yards per game.Â
Two of Brockport's losses this season came in overtime against RPI and St. John Fisher, both teams that were also selected for an ECAC Bowl Game. All four of Brockport's losses came against teams that have been selected for postseason competition.
