BROCKPORT, NY - The Brockport Women's Basketball team dropped Tuesday night's non-conference clash against Hamilton, 88-64, on November 18th. The Golden Eagles fell to1-3 on the season after the loss.
Stephanie Jean-Baptiste (7 REB, 2 STL) and
Mandy Brink (5 REB) each dropped 13 points to lead the Brockport offense.
The Continentals would run away with the contest in the first quarter, taking a 19-point lead after 10 minutes. Hamilton caught fire to the tune of 86.6% shooting (13-15) and 75% from beyond the arc (3-4).Â

Mandy Brink, a late Hamilton push would keep the home team ahead 55-38 at halftime.
Both defenses would take control coming out of halftime, with neither team eclipsing 15 points in the third quarter. The Golden Eagles would hold Hamilton to 16.6% shooting from three in the quarter.
Down 21 in the fourth quarter, Stephanie Jean Baptiste and
Casey Mahony's three-pointers would cut into the lead, but the Continentals would finish strong to defend home court.
Jackie Kozakiewicz led all players with four steals, adding five points and two assists off the bench.
Casey Mahony made the most of her minutes, hitting two three-pointers and leading the squad with two blocks.Â
