Waco, TX – On December 10
th, the American Football Coaches Association released its 2025 AFCA Division III Coaches' All-America Teams. Brockport's
Isaiah Simmons was recognized with an AFCA All-American 2
nd-Team selection.
Isaiah Simmons claims the first All-American honor of his collegiate career, following a fantastic 2025 campaign with the Golden Eagles. To go with this All-American selection, Simmons also earned Empire 8 1
st-Team All-Conference, D3football.com 1
st-Team All-Region, and was the MVP of the ECAC Scotty Whitelaw Bowl Game.
Brockport's star running back had a huge season running the ball for the Golden Eagle offense. Simmons finished the 2025 campaign as one of the top running backs in the nation.
He totaled 1,609 rushing yards and 23 rushing touchdowns on 241 carries. Simmons averaged 146.27 yards per game and had a season-long average of 6.7 yards per carry. To go with his impressive numbers in the run game, he also contributed 22 catches for 147 yards and one receiving touchdown.
After hosting Geneva (PA) for an ECAC Bowl Game. Brockport finished the 2025 campaign at 7-4 overall with a 4-3 mark in Empire 8 play. The Golden Eagles made a postseason appearance for the ninth year in a row and won an ECAC Bowl Game for the second year in a row.
