Brockport, NY – Recently the College Sports Communicators announced the 2025-2026 Academic All-District Men's Soccer teams for the NCAA and NAIA divisions. Brockport was represented by
Alex Rivara on this year's CSC All-District Men's Soccer Team.
Rivara was recognized for his work in the classroom and his impact on the field for the 2025 season. He earns CSC All-District honors to add to 1
st-Team All-Conference and E8 Defensive Player of the Year.
In the classroom, Rivara has maintained a GPA higher than a 3.50 at a 3.92 cumulative GPA as a nursing major. On the field he started all 18 games for Brockport this year, totaling four assists from the backline.
Rivara was also selected to the Empire 8 All-Tournament Team and earned USC All-Region 2
nd-Team. His defensive prowess was instrumental in guiding the Golden Eagles to eight crucial shutouts while the team allowed a stingy average of just 1.33 goals and 10.1 shots per game. He was a constant presence, playing every second of the postseason run.
The Golden Eagles finished to 2025 season 11-5-3 overall with an 8-1-2 record in conference play, advancing to the Empire 8 Conference Championship game. The Golden Eagles 11-win season marks the most in a single season since the 2018 season (16).
