Box Score Brockport, NY- The Brockport men's lacrosse team rolled past SUNY Canton in home opener action, 20-6, on Monday, February 24
th. The Golden Eagles start the season 1-0 following the win.

Nate Askin led the charge for Brockport, scoring a team-high nine points from seven goals and two assists.

Pierson Jacobs showed out in his first outing as a Golden Eagle, netting four goals with an assist for five points on the day.

Marc Zappulla posted a game-high three assists, with
Rorick Perry (1G, 2A) and
Nick Maslin (1G, 2A) adding three points each as well. Â

The Golden Eagles came out of the gates hot, with a
Nate Askin first-period hat-trick and goals from
Carson Colucci and
Rorick Perry giving Brockport a 5-0 edge entering the second period.

Brockport would expand on its lead, netting eight straight goals in the second period.

Peter McGowan netting two goals in the period.

Nick Maslin would provide the scoring in the third for Brockport.

Andrew Heins would provide the final tally of the contest for Brockport, with
