Brockport, NY – The women's lacrosse team is set to compete in a pair of games this week first hosting the University of Rochester on Thursday, February 27^th for their home opener starting at 4pm. The Golden Eagles will travel to William Smith College on Saturday, March 1^st for a 1pm start. 

Last Time Out – Last Sunday, the Green and Gold went up against #11 Ithaca College for their first of the 2025 season. The team fell 11-3 in the tough competition.

Alayna Foos led the team in points with three on the day from two goals and one assist while adding two groundballs. Hailey Lewkovich also added a goal to round out the scoring for the team.  Kaeli McCarthy also scooped up four groundballs, a team high on the day, and goalkeeper Arianna Reed added two groundballs with 12 saves in the net for Brockport. 

Scouting U of R – The Yellowjackets have gotten off to a 0-1 start with a tough matchup against St. John Fisher. Alyssa Gorny led the team in goals (3) starting off their season on a high note. In their last matchup against Brockport, the Golden Eagles took the close 12-11 victory. 

A Look at William Smith – The Herons started the season strong, sitting at 1-0 after a 16-9 win against Geneseo. Natalie Daniels brought the heat with seven goals on the day for the team high. Brockport looks to bring in a win on Saturday as William Smith has taken the last two in their past two matchups. 

Next Week – Brockport will travel to Canton, NY next Saturday, March 8^th as they take on St. Lawrence University for a 12pm start.
