Brockport, NY – The women's lacrosse team fell 3-14 to Hamilton College today on the road. The Golden Eagles now sit at 0-6 on the 2025 season.
Hamilton took control in the first period putting up three goals until
Tristan Davis responded taking the lead down to just two scores. Hamilton put the ball in the net one more time taking them to 4-1 going into the second quarter.
The second period was quiet with Hamilton adding two more to their score until
Tristan Davis added another to cut the lead. Hamilton snuck one more goal at the buzzer to put them up 7-2 going into halftime.
Coming back from the break, Brockport struggled to find the back of the net as Hamilton outscored them 2-0 to start and end the third quarter.
The fourth quarter was a one sided battle as Hamilton scored four in a row before
Amanda Evans stopped the bleeding with an assist from
Karaline McCarthy. Hamilton added another with just a minute left taking them to 14-3 on the day.
Tristan Davis led the team in points with two from two goals.
Amanda Evans had one goal and
Karaline McCarthy had an assist.
Arianna Reed was in net for the Golden Eagles making a total of 19 saves.
Next Up – Brockport will be back in action next Wednesday, March 26
th on home turf hosting RIT for a 4pm start.
