Hot Start: Through Brockport's first three games,
Nate Askin has powered the Brockport offense with a strong start to the season. Askin has already posted 10 goals and three assists for 13 points on the season, adding six ground balls. Askin has also been strong in the faceoff department, winning 83.3% of his draws (15-18).

Impact Freshman: Currently holding a team second-best seven points (5G, 2A),
Pierson Jacobs has made an impact in his first three games as a Golden Eagle. Scoring five points against Canton, Jacobs followed up with a two-point (1G, 1A) outing against Cortland.

Scouting Potsdam: The Bears started their season with an 18-3 win over Utica on March 1
st in home opener action. Potsdam is coming off a 10-6 2024 season, finishing 4-3 in SUNYAC play. Despite losing last year's matchup 11-10 in overtime, the Golden Eagles have four of the last six head-to-head matchups.
