Men's Lacrosse Heads to St. John Fisher on Wednesday

Brockport, NY- The Brockport men's lacrosse team will face off with St. John Fisher from Rochester, NY on Wednesday, April 16th at 4 pm.
 
Last Time Out: The Golden Eagles celebrated senior day with a 10-9 win over Utica on Saturday, April 12th. The win moved Brockport to 6-6 overall with a 3-2 record in E8 contests.
 
Carson Colucci would have a huge day, leading Brockport with four goals and five ground balls.
 
Jack Acker (W, 6-5) picked up the win, making five saves on the day.
 
The Golden Eagles would dominate in the turnover department, with the Pioneers finishing with 20 turnovers to Brockport's 10.
 
On a Heater: Following two Empire 8 losses to open conference play, the Golden Eagles have rebounded after a strong week. The Green and Gold ripped off three straight E8 wins, outscoring their opponents 40-16.
 
Stepping Up: Carson Colucci has played a crucial role in Brockport's three-game winning streak and is currently second on the team in scoring. Colucci has provided 3+ goals and 4+ points in each of his last three outings, adding seven ground balls and two caused turnovers.
 
Program Record: Jack Acker would secure program history in the third quarter of Brockport's 11-4 win against Alfred, making 10 saves on the day to set a new program record for career saves with 303. He becomes the first goalie in program history to reach the 300 career saves milestone, as he surpasses the previous saves record of 298 set by Matt Staalesen (2005-07).
 
Scouting St. John Fisher: The Cardinals will enter Wednesday's matchup on a five-game E8 winning streak, holding a 9-4 record on the season. Fisher most recently defeated SUNY Poly on the road 32-7 last Saturday.
 
Up Next: Brockport will head to Albany to take on Russell Sage on Saturday, April 19th at 1 pm.
