Brockport, NY- The Brockport men's lacrosse team dropped Wednesday's Empire 8 contest with Geneseo, 10-2, on April 2
nd. The Golden Eagles fell to 3-6 overall with a 0-2 record in E8 play.

Jack Acker (L, 3-5) was excellent in a losing effort, posting a career-high 22 saves.

Andrew Tittmann and the Geneseo defense kept Brockport in check throughout, allowing just one Golden Eagle goal each half. Tittmann finished with 16 saves in a strong effort.

Down 4-0 in the second,
Nate Askin would net a man-up goal to put Brockport on the board, with
Pierson Jacobs adding an assist.

Trailing 7-1 in the fourth, the Golden Eagles would again connect on the man-up. Askin would find
Carson Colucci to bring Brockport within five.

The Knights would add insurance in the fourth, scoring the last three goals of the contest to earn the 10-2 win.

Marc Zappulla led the Golden Eagles with three ground balls and two caused turnovers.
