Brockport, NY- The Brockport men's lacrosse team posted a dominant performance in Utica, defeating SUNY Poly, 19-3, on Saturday, April 5
th. The Golden Eagles improved to 4-6 overall and 1-2 in Empire 8 play.

The Golden Eagles would rattle off 10 goals to open the contest, netting seven in the opening quarter.
Carson Colucci would open the scoring barrage, followed by goals by
Pierson Jacobs (2),
Hunter Riehlman,
Daniel Wright,
Jack Rice, and
Nate Askin.

The Brockport scoring run would continue in the second, with Rice scoring his second goal of the afternoon before
Jacob Stine would net back-to-back goals to extend Brockport's lead to 10-1.

The Wildcats would break the scoring run in the second, but
Carson Colucci would answer back with another tally to give Brockport an 11-1 lead at halftime.

Although SUNY Poly would outscore Brockport in the third (2-1),
Pierson Jacobs would secure his hattrick goal, sending Brockport into the final frame up 12-3.

The Green and Gold would return to dominance in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Wildcats 7-0. Scoring in the period came from

Tim Hubbard led the Golden Eagles with five ground balls each.
